You’ve left so many nice compliments on the coloring of this photo that I’ve posted a Photoshop tutorial.

These are beautiful! Are these from the wedding you just shot or did you make the bouquet yourself?

Allison June 17, 2008 at 11:36 pm

How lovely! The colors are wonderful.

Happy WW :)

I love the delicate combination of color and texture. You’ve taken flowers and made them immensely memorable. I can’t get this image out of my head!

I wanted to let you know that I’ve started a new meme on my blog. It’s called Thematic Photographic, and given your extremely solid photographic chops, I suspect you’d enjoy it. Here’s a link to the most recent entry (theme is snack food):

I’ll be posting a new theme later on Wednesday, and hope you’ll drop by and give it a whirl.

All the best,

Carmi

The blue hydrangeas remind me of my grandma. She had them along her driveway. This is a beautiful photo. It’s title is very fitting.

June June 18, 2008 at 7:01 am

SandyCarlson June 18, 2008 at 7:15 am

That is a gorgeous bouquet. Love the color!

Lovely! I read somewhere that you can change the color of hydrangea’s if you bury pennies near the bush, but I forget if it changes from blue to pink or vice versa. Anyway, I like the blue ones best.

I like how only the hydrangeas have color.

Andrea June 18, 2008 at 9:23 am

Was this your sister’s bouquet? I love how the blue of the Hydrangeas is just the right amount of contrast against the cream of the roses.

It’s beautiful, Dawn. Great composition on your photo too!
